Celebrate Andalusia Day with us

By | 27 February, 2025 | 0 comments

On February 28th, the Day of Andalusia is commemorated, a celebration of great significance for all Andalusians. This day marks the historic celebration of the 1980 referendum, which granted Andalusia the status of an Autonomous Community, a fundamental step in the creation of the State of Autonomous Communities in Spain.
At Hospes, we join in this special celebration to pay tribute to the rich culture, traditions, and cuisine of our beloved land. At our exclusive Hotels Las Casas del Rey de Baeza in Seville and Palacio del Bailío in Córdoba, we have prepared special menus that reflect the essence of Andalusia in every dish, with the native flavors that identify us and make us unique.

Special Menu at Hotel Las Casas del Rey de Baeza (Seville)
Located in the heart of Seville, the hotel will offer a gastronomic experience that fuses Andalusian tradition with a contemporary touch. Guests will be able to enjoy a selection of dishes made with the freshest local ingredients, such as extra virgin olive oil, coastal fish, and vegetables from the Andalusian orchards. A menu designed to highlight the essence of our land, perfect for enjoying in a unique setting of both classic and modern style.

Special Menu at Hotel Palacio del Bailío (Córdoba)
At Hotel Palacio del Bailío, in historic Córdoba, the Day of Andalusia will also be celebrated with an exquisite gastronomic offering. In an atmosphere that blends history, art, and culture, guests can savor a menu that pays tribute to Cordoban cuisine. From the classic Almagro eggplants to dishes made with Segureño lamb, the culinary offer will be a true homage to the most authentic flavors of the province. Enjoy a special lunch or dinner in this charming setting, where tradition merges with innovation.

The Legacy of Andalusia in Every Dish
The history of the Day of Andalusia, marked by the ratification of the referendum and the entry into force of the Statute of Autonomy, reflects the strength and identity of our community. This day invites us to remember the path to autonomy and, at the same time, to celebrate everything that makes Andalusia a unique region, from its cultural diversity to its rich gastronomy.
At Hospes, we are proud to be part of this tradition, providing our guests with a unique experience that goes beyond staying in a hotel. Andalusian cuisine is one of the pillars of our identity, and what better way to celebrate it than with a special menu at our most iconic hotels in Seville and Córdoba.

Come celebrate with us on the Day of Andalusia and enjoy a gastronomic experience that will transport you to the heart of our land!
