For all those who love Christmas and for those who do not, it’s Christmas markets season. Something so typical and appealing at this time of the year, where you can buy, eat and enjoy the lights, ornaments, colors and their flavors.
That is why we want to share with you the calendar of the Christmas markets of the main cities of Spain, as well as a guide of what you can find in each of them.

Alicante Christmas Markets
When? From December 20th to January 5th.
Where? Paseo de Soto.
In this Christmas craft market you can find articles of goldsmiths and Christmas ornaments in more than 28 stalls spread across the Paseo.

Valencia Christmas Markets
When? From December 14th. to January 06th.
Where? In the City of Arts and Sciences.
A Christmas market that will make all ages fall in love with it. You can enjoy Christmas workshops, musical performances, wide gastronomic offer, crafts and even puppet theaters.

Madrid Christmas Markets
When? From November 23rd to December 31st.
Where? In the Plaza Mayor
For more than 100 years this market has been held in the heart of the capital. Every December, citizens and tourists gather here to find different items related to the festivities: figures of the nativity scene, Christmas musical instruments, toys, etc. all spread in more than 104 booths distributed throughout the square.

Palma Christmas Markets
When? From November 21st to January 06th.
Where? Plaza Mayor (Palma).
With a total of 246 booths, the “Fira de Nadal i Reis” on the Playa Mayor is a place to find different types of native crafts, Christmas items and visit the nativity scenes in the different squares of the city. The most famous one is the Plaça de Cort in the Town Hall.

Cordoba Christmas Market
When? From November 8th to December 22nd.
Where? Tendillas Square
The center of Córdoba get dressed with its best galas for its Christmas market that will have the participation of 20 companies from all over Spain distributed in 45 booths. Visitors can find typical Christmas items such as nativity scenes or toys, but will also have a typical gastronomic offer with sweets, cheeses, sausages and artisan breads. In addition, and for the first time in Cordoba, there will be a light show to celebrate the Nativity.

Handicraft Christmas Market Seville
When? From December 17th to January 5th.
Where? Plaza Nueva (in front of the Town Hall)
Only a few steps from the Cathedral of Seville you can find this Christmas market. It is dedicated to the typical crafts of the city. With almost 80 booths, in this market you can find different typical Andalusian products: jewelry, pottery, toys, cosmetics, clothes, etc.

Salamanca Christmas Markets
When? Dates still to be published.
Where? Anaya Park.
With its first edition only 2 years ago, Salamanca got inspired by German markets, and thus lighting plays an essential part in their market. There you can find more than 40 places to buy and activities and musical performances to enjoy.

Granada Christmas Markets
When? December 7th to January 06th.
Where? Bib-Rambla Square.
Traditional Christmas market where a wide variety of products are offered in its almost 50 opened positions. There you will find: nativity figures, Christmas trees, sweets and sausages typical of this time of the year, among many other items. Without a doubt, this Christmas market will make you enjoy the city of the Alhambra even more at Christmas.
